In order to promote sustainable development and forest conservation, we collaborate with a diverse group of partners, including local and regional governments, universities, research institutes, NGOs, and local communities. These collaborations enable us to comply with traceability regulations like the EUDR, while also fostering local development and encouraging responsible environmental practices.
Together with NGO Plan B and local communities, we conduct participatory spatial analyses in eight villages (Buluq Sen, Kelekat, Long Beleh Modang, Long Beleh Haloq, Muai, Muara Ritan, Kembang Janggut, Pulau Pinang, and Perdana). These efforts aim to improve land governance, mitigate deforestation risks, and support provincial spatial planning that balances forest protection with the needs of community development.
REA is committed to environmental and biodiversity conservation through the management of orangutan habitats within its HGU area. This includes a focus on High Conservation Value (HCV) areas and active participation in the orangutan conservation community, FORINA.
